The data we collect about you

Why we use your personal data
We use your data for the purposes below and for nothing else without telling you first.
- Running your account - registering you, processing deposits and withdrawals, crediting winnings and applying bonuses.
- Verifying age and identity - confirming that you are 18 or over and that you are who you say you are.
- Preventing fraud and money laundering - checking for duplicate accounts, stolen payment details, collusion and unusual patterns of deposits or play.
- Keeping play safer - applying the limits and time-outs you set, honouring self-exclusion, and contacting you where your activity suggests a risk of harm.
- Meeting our legal duties - keeping the records our licence, anti-money-laundering, tax and accounting rules require, and answering lawful requests from public authorities.
- Supporting you - answering your questions by e-mail or live chat and looking into any complaint you raise.
- Sending offers you opted into - e-mail, SMS or on-site messages about promotions, where you have asked to receive them.
Age and identity checks
Only people aged 18 or over may hold an account with us. We hold a gaming licence and must verify the age and identity of every account holder; where we cannot complete those checks, we restrict the account until we can.
The legal bases we rely on
UK data protection law requires a legal basis for every use of your data. In plain words, these are the bases we rely on.
| What we use your data for | Our legal basis | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Opening and running your account, settling bets and paying withdrawals | Performing our contract with you | We cannot provide the games and payments you asked for without this data. |
| Age, identity and source-of-funds checks, and keeping records | Legal obligation | Gambling and financial-crime rules oblige us to confirm who you are and to retain the records. |
| Fraud prevention, site security and safer gambling monitoring | Our legitimate interests | We have a genuine interest in protecting players and the site; we weigh it against your privacy and you can object. |
| Marketing messages about promotions and new games | Your consent | You asked to receive them and can withdraw that consent at any time. |
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it in your account settings or by writing to us, and we will stop that use. Withdrawing consent does not affect uses that rest on a different basis, such as the records we must keep by law.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data while you hold an account with us, and afterwards for the period the law and our licence require. We do not keep it longer than we need to.
- Account, transaction and verification records are kept while the account is open, then for the retention period set by gambling, anti-money-laundering, tax and accounting rules.
- Self-exclusion and time-out records are kept for the length of the measure and afterwards for as long as we must be able to show that we applied it.
- Marketing preferences and opt-outs are kept so that we do not contact you again after you have asked us to stop.
- Support and complaint records are kept long enough to show how the matter was handled.
Once a retention period ends, we delete the data or remove the details that identify you, so that what remains cannot be linked back to you.
Your rights, cookies and how to contact us
You hold the rights below. Some are limited where we must keep records by law.
- Access - ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction - have inaccurate or incomplete details put right.
- Erasure - ask us to delete data we no longer have a reason to keep.
- Restriction - ask us to pause the use of your data while a question about it is open.

- Portability - receive the data you gave us in a commonly used electronic format.
- Withdrawing consent - stop any use that rests on consent, including marketing.
- Complaint - raise the matter with the Information Commissioner's Office, which handles data protection complaints in the UK.
How to use your rights
Write to support@casinodreamjackpot.co.uk or use the live chat on the site and tell us which right you want to use; data protection queries can also be sent to privacy@casinodreamjackpot.co.uk. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose your data to anyone else, and we will answer within the time limit data protection law allows. If you are unhappy with our answer, tell us so that we can look into it again, and you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your settings, measure how the site is used and, where you allow it, show you relevant promotions. You can set your preferences when you first arrive and change them later in the cookie settings on the site; blocking some cookies may stop parts of your account from working. Our Cookie Policy explains each category and how long the cookies last.
Staying in control
You can set deposit limits, take a time-out or self-exclude at any time using the tools in your account, and register with GamStop to exclude yourself from licensed sites in Great Britain. Free, confidential support is available from GamCare, GambleAware and the National Gambling Helpline.
