Responsible Gaming

Gambling should be a way of spending some spare money, never a way of making it. This page sets out the controls in your account that keep play within limits you choose, the warning signs worth watching for, and the organisations that can help.

Our commitment: gambling as entertainment, for adults only

We want your time with Dream Jackpot Casino to stay entertainment. Our games are games of chance, the house holds a mathematical advantage over the long run, and no system or pattern changes that. Money you stake should be money you can comfortably afford to lose, in the same way you treat the cost of a night out.

Decide your budget before you deposit, and decide how long you want to play for. Keep gambling money separate from rent, bills, food and credit repayments, never gamble with borrowed money, and stop rather than staking more to win back a loss.

18+ only

Our services are for adults aged 18 or over. We hold a gaming licence and we check the age and identity of every account holder. An account that cannot be verified is closed, with deposits handled in line with our terms.

The tools in your account and how to switch them on

Every account includes a set of safer gambling controls, and you can switch them on yourself in the responsible gaming section of your account. Using them never counts against you: we do not treat a limit, a time-out or a self-exclusion as a reason to restrict your account or hold back a withdrawal you are owed.

Deposit limits

A deposit limit caps what you can pay in across a day, a week or a month. A lower limit applies immediately. A request to raise or remove a limit is held for a cooling-off period before it takes effect, and you can cancel that request while it is still pending.

Loss and session limits

A loss limit caps how much you can lose over a period you choose, counting your stakes against your wins; once you reach it, you cannot stake again until the period resets. A session limit closes your session after a set length of time, so a short visit does not quietly become a long one.

Time-outs

A time-out is a short break. For the period you choose you cannot deposit or stake, marketing stops, your account stays open and any pending withdrawal is handled as normal. Access returns automatically when the time-out ends.

Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion is a longer and firmer break, for a minimum period as set out in your account. We close off deposits and play, remove you from all marketing, and take reasonable steps to stop you opening another account with us. We cannot lift it early. At the end of the period, access is not restored automatically: you must ask us, and a further cooling-off period applies before you can play again.

Reality checks

A reality check interrupts play at an interval you set and shows how long the session has run and what you have won or lost. You can carry on or close the game from the reminder.

Setting a control

  1. Sign in and open the responsible gaming section of your account.
  2. Choose the control you want: deposit limit, loss limit, session limit, reality check, time-out or self-exclusion.
  3. Set the amount or the period, confirm it, and check the summary now shown against your account.
  4. If anything is unclear, ask us on live chat or write to support@casinodreamjackpot.co.uk before you deposit again.

Where to start

If you are unsure, set a monthly deposit limit at a figure you would be comfortable losing. You can tighten it whenever you like, and the lower amount applies at once.

Signs that gambling may be causing you harm

Difficulty builds gradually and is easier to see in a list than in the moment. Go through the points below honestly.

  • You play for longer, or stake more, than you planned to.
  • You use money meant for rent, bills, food or repayments.
  • You borrow money, use credit or sell belongings to keep playing.
  • You try to win back losses with bigger or faster bets.
  • You hide how much you gamble from your family, partner or friends.
  • You gamble to cope with stress, boredom, loneliness or low mood.
  • You feel anxious, irritable or guilty during or after playing.
  • Your work, study, sleep, health or relationships have suffered.
  • You have promised yourself you would stop and found that you could not.

If several of these apply to you, set a time-out or a self-exclusion now and speak to one of the organisations below. Their help is free and confidential, and it is available whether or not you have decided to stop gambling.

Where to get free, confidential help

The organisations below are not part of our business, and nothing you tell them affects your account with us. Each can be found by searching for its name; we do not publish telephone numbers or web addresses on this page.

  • GambleAware funds and commissions information, prevention and treatment services, and publishes plain guidance on how gambling products work and where to find help.
  • GamCare offers free counselling, group support and practical advice, in person and online, for players and for the people close to them.
  • GamStop is the free national self-exclusion scheme: a single registration blocks you from gambling sites licensed in Great Britain, including ours, for the period you choose.
  • The National Gambling Helpline gives confidential advice and referral to treatment, by telephone and live chat, for anyone affected by gambling.

Registering with GamStop works alongside our own controls rather than replacing them, because self-exclusion with us covers only your account with us. Blocking software on your devices and a gambling block from your bank are also worth considering. If you would like us to apply a self-exclusion or close your account for you, write to responsiblegaming@casinodreamjackpot.co.uk or use live chat.

Protecting children and other people in your home

Gambling by anyone under 18 is illegal. Registration requires you to confirm your age, and we carry out age and identity checks before withdrawals and at other points in the life of an account. If an account turns out to belong to someone under 18, we close it and any winnings are void, with deposits handled in line with our terms.

If children or young people share your device or home network, a few simple steps help:

  • Do not let your browser, app or device remember your login details.
  • Sign out fully when you finish, rather than just closing the window.
  • Keep cards, banking apps and e-wallet access out of reach.
  • Install parental control or content-filtering software, which can block gambling sites on a shared computer, tablet or phone.
  • Set up separate user profiles for other members of the household.

If you believe someone under 18 has used your account, tell us at once on live chat or at support@casinodreamjackpot.co.uk so that we can secure it.
